SUMMER CHASTANT

Summer  is the creator, executive producer, writer, and lead of  RAGE ROOM - which will have it’s world premiere screening as part of the 2019 Slamdance Film Festival.

Her last original digital  series NAMASTE, BITCHES (which she also created, executive produced, wrote and was the lead) was  written up in The New York Times, MTV, Paste Magazine, Cosmopolitan (among many others). It was dubbed “the Girls of Yoga” by LA Weekly. It has been named  in numerous top lists of “best original series” alongside of Netflix’s Master of None, Horace and Pete, Jerry Sienfeld’s Driving in Cars with Comedians and HBO’s High Maintenance. 


Summer most recently wrote, produced, and is the lead in her short film, A LITTLE BIT PREGNANT. The film recently premiered at the Holly Shorts Festival in LA. A LITTLE BIT PREGNANT has received nominations in the categories of Best Actress, Breakout Fimmaker, Best Director, and a win for Best Comedy at The Brooklyn Women’s Film Festival.
